The final Serie A round is upon us and yet a lot of things are not decided in the Italian top flight. Inter are champions but everything else in the TOP four is unclear. After last week’s results, Atalanta are the only side that will definitely play in the UCL, regardless of the results in the final round. AC Milan, Napoli, and Juventus will have to battle it out for the remaining spots. All outcomes are in play as well as all the possible combinations. In other news, Lazio are surely going to the UEL. They will finish 6th regardless of what happens in the last round. On the other hand, their city rivals still have work to do on Sunday. Roma need to win their fixture if they want to see some European football next season. Finishing 7th means they will be a part of the Conference league.
With things as complicated as they are, we believe Bitcoin Betting will be popular for the last Serie A matchweek of the season. Below, we are going to review the three fixtures that could make the biggest impact on the standings. First, we have the derby of the round. Atalanta are hosting AC Milan in a game that the visitors have to win if they hope for UCL football next season. Next, we have the holding champions in an away fixture against Bologna. Things are pretty clear for Juventus, they need to win and hope that other results go their way or they won’t see the Champions League next season. Lastly, we have Napoli hosting Verona and if they win, they guarantee themselves European football for the next season. For more information about Serie A, check their official website.

Atalanta vs AC Milan
It’s been a turbulent week for Atalanta who sealed their third consecutive Champions League place thanks to a 3-4 victory at Genoa in Serie A (SA), but then lost to Juventus in the Coppa Italia final during midweek. Now unbeaten in 11 SA matches (W9, D2), another victory here would guarantee that they’d finish the season as runners-up – their best ever top-flight finish. Atalanta’s home matches this season have been packed with entertainment and a league high 11 of those (61.11%) saw at least four goals scored. ’La Dea’ have won seven SA home outings in a row, netting in both halves in three of the last four, whilst a quick start remains important as Atalanta possess a near-perfect record when opening the scoring here this SA season (W11, D1).
Milan need a victory to ensure their own Champions League spot for next season, however, with only one win in the last 11 H2Hs (D6, L4), their fans will be nervous. A disappointing draw versus Cagliari last time out means that anything less than three points here gives Napoli and Juventus the chance to overtake on the final day. More positively, Milan have kept a clean sheet in four straight SA games – another here would give them their longest such streak since March 2006. The visitors have also won 15 of their 18 away league matches and another victory here can set a new SA record (W15, D1, L2). Amazingly, the visitors have led at HT in 14 of those victories and have now won their last 17 SA away outings when scoring first.
Milan were table leaders for almost half the season and they thought things are going great for them. However, they have been finishing the season in the worst way. Right now, they have a huge problem because they need to beat Atalanta to play in the UCL next season. A draw won’t be enough if Juventus win their game. Atalanta don’t really have what to play for but if they lose, they will most likely finish the season 4th which is awful since they could end 2nd with just a draw against Milan. With that being said, we are backing an Over 2.75 Goals outcome @ 1.46 odds.

Bologna vs Juventus
The hosts can still secure a top-half finish with a win, provided Verona lose at Napoli, but their current six-game winless run (D4, L2) offers little inspiration. Defending is a clear issue, with Bologna conceding in both halves in four of their last five Serie A (SA) outings – something they’ve experienced 14 times overall this term. Those defensive issues are a major contributor to Bologna’s abysmal SA win rate as underdogs (9.09%). By the end of matchday 37, that stood as the second-worst amongst teams entering 3+ league games as outsiders. Bologna are also without a top-flight home win vs Juventus this century (D5, L11), with three of the last six defeats seeing them lose one half by a 2-0 scoreline. This reinforces expectations of a Juventus win, but that must also be accompanied by favorable results for the visitors if they are to secure a top-four finish.
Juventus will believe they can succeed in that top-four goal, after their record 14th Coppa Italia triumph in midweek. Yet, with only six sides attaining fewer SA away wins ’to nil’ than their six, boss Andrea Pirlo – who became the fourth Juventus manager to win the cup both as a player and as a coach – will take nothing for granted. Despite this, only two other teams spent midweek having conceded less average goals per SA away game than Juventus’ 1.00. The ‘Bianconeri’ are also unbeaten in SA away matches vs sides below them (W7, D7), though 12 of those witnessed both teams score. The holding champions are having a season to forget but it will be even worse if they don’t play in the UCL next season. They need to win here and hope that several other results go their way.
Juventus found their form over the last two weeks but it could prove to be a little too late. They won the Italian Cup but could still lose UCL football if things don’t go their way on Sunday. Juventus need a great match as they can’t drop points in this one. Bologna are a mid-table team that’s currently in awful form which means Juventus should win the game comfortably. For that reason, we are backing a -1.75 Asian Handicap outcome @ 1.81 odds.
Bologna vs Juventus
Napoli vs Hellas Verona
The hosts have a prime opportunity to seal a fifth UEFA Champions League spot in six years, following a run of five wins by a 2+ goal margin in their last six Serie A (SA) matches. The ‘Partenopei’ scored over 1.5 first-half goals in four of those wins, provoking heavy expectations of a quick start from the team seeking an eighth consecutive H2H home win. No side across Europe’s top five divisions has registered more than Napoli’s 11 home league HT/FT victories, with the hosts being the only SA side yet to concede a goal in the opening 15 minutes at home. Additionally, they have been in front at HT in ten consecutive SA outings here (W8, D2).
Hellas Verona will secure a top-half finish with a point, but their current eight-game winless run (D3, L5) offers little in the way of inspiration. All of those five defeats saw the deciding goal arrive beyond the hour mark, while four of the six individual halves played across the three draws (including all second halves) produced a 1-1 scoreline. The visitors currently stand as the only team in SA yet to register a single point when falling behind on the road in 2020/21, though they have trailed at HT just once across their last eight away games. Curiously, just three SA sides have been behind after the opening 45 minutes fewer times than Verona on the road this term (HT: W5, D9, L4).
Napoli have been one of the best teams in the world when it comes to home games. Now, their whole season rests on the last fixture where they play at home. With a win, Napoli will qualify for the Champions League next season. However, Verona have been a problem for all top sides this season. They beat Napoli 3:1 the first time they met earlier in the season. The hosts will need to play their best game if they want to play in the UCL next season. With that being said, we are backing a Home Side Victory & Under 4.5 Goals outcome @ 1.77 odds.
