Things are becoming extremely complicated in the Italian top flight. While only a miracle could prevent Inter from becoming champions, all the other positions are up for grabs. Milan have now lost two games in a row and thanks to that, they have dropped all the way down to 5th. Milan were top of the table for most of the season but now it’s uncertain whether they will finish in the TOP 4. The holding champions are in a similar situation as well. Juventus dropped points against Fiorentina in the last round and are only above them because of a better goal differential. Napoli and Atalanta are the teams to watch right now. These sides are in excellent form and both will try to finish 2nd by the end of the season. On the other hand, Milan and Juventus need to be careful with Lazio who aim to finish 4th.
Based on the standings on the table, Bitcoin Betting will be very popular in the coming weeks. Anything can happen in the TOP 4 race which is why below, we will cover the most important fixtures of the 34th round. First, we have Milan at home against Benevento in a game they have to win. Milan can’t drop a single point until the end of the season or they will definitely miss out on the UCL next season. Next, we have Atalanta in a home fixture against Cagliari. If they keep winning, Napoli just might finish 2nd on the table. Last but not least, we have the holding champions away against Udinese. They are in a similar position like Milan and if Juventus drop points again, they could lose their UCL spot. For more information about Serie A, check their official website.

AC Milan vs Benevento
A spate of recent losses has seen AC Milan drop out of the Serie A (SA) top four, albeit on goal difference. Their drop in form is well-evidenced by the fact that the ’Rossoneri’ have registered all of their seven SA defeats this season exclusively in 2021, with three arriving in the last seven rounds alone (W3, D1, L3). Milan lost the second-half ’to-nil’ in all seven. On a more positive note, Milan are unbeaten at home in all ten SA matches played against teams that are ninth or lower (W6, D4), with the hosts opening the scoring inside the first half in five of those wins. However, they are still the only top-five side yet to win a home league match when trailing at HT (D2, L2). It’s unacceptable for a team that was challenging for the title until a month ago to drop out of the TOP 4.
That should matter little here though, as Benevento have conceded a league-high of ten openers inside the first 15 minutes, with their recent 4-2 loss to Udinese seeing the same. Bottom of the league’s ten-game form table (W1, D3, L6), Filippo Inzaghi’s men start this round 18th as one of three teams on 31 points. Worse still, Benevento have lost five of their six SA away matches against current top-seven sides, conceding 4+ goals in three. They trailed at HT in all five of those defeats, and shipped the opener inside the first ten minutes in three of them. Moreover, they’ve conceded 41.94% (13) of their 31 SA away ‘goals against’ inside the opening half-hour. Last time Benevento were part of the Serie A, they got relegated in the season after they got promoted. Right now, it looks like the same thing will happen again.
Regardless of current standings and team form, Milan are absolute favorites to win this game. They need to return to winning ways or we won’t be watching Milan in the UCL next season. In their first meeting this season, Milan secured a comfortable 0:2 victory. This time they have home turf advantage and should be able to get all three points. With that being said, we are backing a Home Side Victory & Over 2.5 Goals outcome @ 1.76 odds.

Napoli vs Cagliari
Eight victories in their last 11 Serie A (SA) matches (D2, L1) has propelled Napoli up to joint-third ahead of this round – their highest ranking since matchday 12. An attack that’s averaged 16.82 shots per game this SA campaign – the highest across Europe’s top-five divisions – has got them there, and they’ve now won three of their last four matches despite a -1 handicap, whilst leading ’to nil’ at HT in all four. Winning seven of their last eight SA home matches after netting a first-half opener, Napoli are in fantastic form at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona. Quick off the mark, all seven of those opening strikes came before the 34th minute, with Napoli leading 1-0 after ten minutes in three. Subsequently, the hosts have won a league-high ten home matches when leading at HT.
Cagliari have won three consecutive SA games for the first time since 2019, making the prospect of a fifth consecutive top-flight campaign a real possibility after relegation seemed all-but certain. The fact that 29.03% of their points have arrived in those last three matches highlights their huge up-tick in form. With just five clean sheets to their name, their defense remains leaky, conceding an average of 1.70 goals per SA game. The visitors have registered only three SA away victories this term, but two have come during their last five road trips (W2, D1, L2). Five of their six goals during that run have fallen in or after the 55th minute and similarly their three goals netted on the road against Napoli since 2017 have followed the same pattern.
Napoli have had several ups and downs this season. At one point it looked like this will be yet another disappointing season for them. However, now they have a chance to turn things around. Napoli have been in excellent form lately which is why they are currently sitting 3rd on the table. Still, they need to keep winning if they want to play in the Champions League next season. On the other hand, Cagliari are fighting relegation as they have won three consecutive games to get out of the relegation zone. They will not surrender that easily to Napoli and this fixture could go either way. For that reason, we are backing a Both Teams to Score outcome @ 1.88 odds.

Udinese vs Juventus
The hosts beat Benevento last time out, and after netting 4+ goals for the first time this Serie A (SA) season, they are moving ever closer to their first top-half finish since 2012/13. However, they’ve registered 2+ consecutive victories in SA just twice this term, and only 30% of their wins have come against sides that are currently above them. The hosts have also lost three consecutive home matches 1-0, with each of their last seven outings here witnessing at least one team fail to score. Though Udinese are still the only SA side yet to register a goal at home inside the 61st-75th minute period, they compensate somewhat, netting 41.67% (five) of their 12 home goals beyond the 75th minute. Udinese are a mid-table team and they have been doing a good job this season. Last year they beat Juventus in this fixture and they will try again.
Still vulnerable to a once-unthinkable finish outside the top four, Juventus travel after failing to keep a clean sheet in ten straight competitive matches for the first time since May 2009. A quick start is highly possible nonetheless, as five of Juventus’ last six matches have seen the opener arrive inside the first half-hour. The ‘Bianconeri’ of Turin have managed just one win across their last seven competitive away matches (W1, D3, L3), and lost five halves during that run by a 1-0 scoreline. Curiously, four of their last six away matches have witnessed a goal scored inside the opening five minutes of the second half, with three arriving exactly in the 46th minute! Juventus are in an awful position at the moment. If they don’t win the games that remain, they may very well miss out on an UCL spot for next season.
Juventus are clear favorites here simply based on their squad quality. However, the holding champions have been far from their best in recent weeks. The title race is over for them but that won’t be their worst problem, if their performances don’t improve. Juventus might miss out on UCL football next season which would be a huge blow for their organization. To avoid that, they need to win all remaining games but also hope that other results go their way. With that being said, we are backing an Away Side Victory @ 1.54 odds.
